Q.1 Why should we prepare for IIT–JEE?

Ans. IIT Colleges are India’s top most Engineering Colleges from there, we get B.Tech Degree. IIT graduates always enjoy a distinct identity, whether it is the case of job or higher studies, IIT graduates are always preferred. IIT graduates used to get high salary. In initial stage, it normally ranges from 10,000 to 50,000 for them, the gateways to success are always open. After getting B.Tech degree, students used to get job opportunities at the international level.

Q.2 Is 90% or above in XIIth a pre-requisite for clearing IIT-JEE?

Ans. IIT-JEE exam is different from XII so the %age of XII does not confirm the success in IIT Instead, proper guidance & hard work of a student can make him successful in his endeavor. This type of doubt is a misconception which originate because of the fact that some institutes provide coaching to only those students who have secured 90% or above 90% and it is true that the students having 90% or more are definitely hard working and get selected with good rank. But previous results clarify the fact that even border line first divisioners also succeed in the exam. In case of reserved category, this %age is even lower.

Q.3 Are students from rural areas capable enough of clearing IIT-JEE exam?

Q.4 What is the nature of IIT Exam? How many selections are there? How is XIIth Exam different from that of IIT?

Ans. From the year 2000 IIT conduct this Exam in two phases. In the first phase, Joint exam of PCM is taken having a duration of 3 hrs From them, 18000 students are selected on the basis of merit list prepared by taking combined marks of all the three subjects. After that in the second phase, there is an exam of duration 2-2 hrs. of three subjects separately & from this approx. 4000 students are selected. In this exam, the student has to pass all the papers separately. The marks obtained in school exams doesn’t influence the future of a student but in case of competitive exams even the difference in one mark decide his fortune. Previous results reflect the fact that the students having 35% marks in JEE Mains exam got selected.

Q.5 What is the role of teachers & coaching institute in the preparation of IIT-JEE?

Ans. IIT-JEE exam generally consists of the questions based on basic concept & subject application. IIT has not published any sort of study material of the syllabus of IIT-JEE. In this condition students simply have to depend on the books available in the market, Book are unable to meet this goal but this difficulty can be easily over come with the help of an experienced teacher. It is not sufficient enough to know the solution but how to reach the solution is more important. IIT-JEE aspirants should know that this exam does not test your maximum knowledge but it tests how the students use the knowledge in hand. In classroom lecturers first teach the basic & important points of XI & XII syllabus so that the students can fill up their basic weakness of XI and XII class then they gradually move the student to the IIT-JEE and even higher levels for a relaxed and better JEE performance apart from all these examples & problems are solved with theory only, so as to make theory pieces strong and relevant, the application skills of the students. Daily assignment sheets are given to the students for practice which consists of the question selected to the topic. Apart from this, questions are also given to students from selected books. There are enough questions in the study material. Tests are conducted weekly for evaluating the performance of the students in which test papers are based on exam pattern. Problem class timings are scheduled to clarify the doubts of the students. Apart from this, helpdesk provision is also there for the same purpose.
